Betwixt and Bewitched

Hettie Parke is enjoying her Saturday morning croquet game - until an ambulance screams to a stop at her aunt’s front door. Her uncle’s death from falling off a ladder comes as a shock, but so do the suspicions of the police when inconsistencies appear in her aunt’s story.
Hettie’s concern only grows when her aunt refuses to allow anyone in her home, insisting all is well. Is she suffering a nervous breakdown? Or does she have a guilty conscience? When she claims she’s being haunted by her husband’s ghost, Hettie and her family do their best to accommodate the idea, but despite their best intentions matters go from bad to worse.
If only that cat Ceefer would lend a paw instead of causing trouble of his own. Will he sort himself out in time to help Hettie uncover what is going on before she finds herself visiting her aunt behind bars?
